The Cruw
The CRUW is an all-girls dance group based in Seattle, Washington. Formed in 2011, the five-piece ensemble met while practicing dance on the campus of University of Washington, hence the letters "UW" in "CRUW".

Founded by UW graduates and notable UW Hip Hop Student Association alum (UWHHSA) Jessica Hu and Louisa Meng, the group also features freestyle hip hop dancers Martha Quintanilla, Tiffany Liu, and Tracey Wong.

All dancers are self-taught in their craft with choreography ascending from different dynamics of hip hop dance including house, funk, waacking, vogue, new style, and more.

Having performed at Bumbershoot, Capitol Hill Block Party opening or featured alongside T-Pain, The Physics, The Flavr Blue, Macklemore, and more. Aside from being performers they are movers and shakers of their dance community putting on events to help the dance community to grow.

Unique, innovative, and empowering, The CRUW is a rising entity in the Seattle art scene seeking to to bridge the gap between the dance and music community while adding variety to the pool of local top-choice opening acts for headlining musicians and groups who perform in the Northwest.

Inspiring a new culture of fusion between music and dance, The CRUW's artist motto is outlined in three main points: being the all-around fly girls of Seattle, embodying the hype for women's of the generation, and keeping the turn-up tasteful.

Dave B
Dave B
Seattle MC Dave B is a multi-talented hip-hop artist who raps, sings, writes, produces while bringing to the table lyrical content reflective of the golden age of hip-hop. His depth and versatility is partially attributable to his vast musical inspirations: gospel icons Fred Hammond, Kirk Franklin; hip-hop luminaries Andre 3000, Missy Elliott, and Kanye West; R&B songstresses Aaliyah and Erykah Badu; jazz legend Theolonious Monk; and rock god Jimi Hendrix.

His music has received incredible support from DopeBoyz ("remarkably exceptional”), Pigeons & Planes (“rap-sings effortlessly...flaunting unique flair with ease”), NPR Music (“not simply a rapper…in the highly favored space between rapping and singing”), DJBooth ("Dave B is a revolutionary”), The FADER (“a versatile rapper”), Earmilk (“dropping dime after dime…after dime”), Hypetrak ("Dave's unique, distinct rap style”), Okayplayer (“putting his city on the map in a big way”), XXL (“perfect for today’s sing-song rap style”), Mass Appeal (“The Northwest is in good hands”), Indie Shuffle ("favorite 2015 hip-hop tune”), HotNewHipHop ("promising talent”), Seattle Weekly ("Seattle’s most endearing young rapper”), Seattle Times (“a prolific young rapper”) among many others.

Dave B blends elements of hip-hop, R&B, jazz and funk over conscious-driven lyrics using soulful melodies and harmonies. After he released his well received debut EP Punch Drunk in November 2015, he returned with his critically-acclaimed album collaboration Tomorrow with producer Sango released July 2016.
