Prayers
Prayers
Cholo-goth pioneers PRAYERS formed in late 2013 in San Diego with Leafar Seyer providing vocals, and Tijuana based electronic artist Dave Parley handling production. They have created a genre known as SD Kill Wave aka Cholo Goth, which fuses the sounds of new wave with southern California gang lifestyle. Prayers pulls from the darkest dance and goth elements with touches of the Pet Shop Boys and Bowie to bring their stories of pride and struggle to life
Nightmare Fortress
Nightmare Fortress
“This is the new model of darkness that destroys all, It’s claustrophobic and large at the same time like sharing a cellar with a massive dragon...Nightmare Fortress are vibrating at a very high frequency” – Mishka Blog, New York

Trance inducing sultry vocals, atmospheric guitar, raunchy synth lines and thick beats. Nightmare Fortress is making marks. The live show is an unforgettable stage performance in a perfectly produced soundscape; a one of a kind experience.

This sound formed in 2011 with members Alicia Amiri (vocals), Colin Roper (synth, vocals), Cassidy Gonzales (guitar), and Blair Field (synth, lighting design). All members hail from established former bands Sleepy Eyes of Death, Lovesick Empire, Loving Thunder and Cobra High.

NF have toured the West Coast and are active around the Pacific Northwest. They have supported many notable acts including Crystal Castles, Nikki and the Dove, Austra, Trust, Douglas J. McArthy of Nitzer Ebb, Crypts, A Place to Bury Strangers, Dangerous Boys Club, Tearist, Peter Hook, Cold Cave and KMFDM.

Nightmare Fortress’ premiere EP Until the Air Runs Out was recorded and produced by the band and released on vinyl by Sweating Tapes. Until the Air Runs Out received much ado upon its release, making it on blog lists for best albums of 2012, top 12 albums of the year and 20 best dark albums of 2012.

After releasing their first EP, They unleashed the single "The Soft Kill" on The CryBaby Studios End of The World Comp. They are also featured on Twitch and Gloam: Dark Sounds from the Pacific Northwest and an almost live studio session for Part Time Punks.
