A monthly Local Hip Hop Showcase curated Liz Rowe, Andrew Savoie, and DJ Able Fader. Our goal is to unite the Local Hip Hop scene so we can all rise together.
Silas Blak
Silas Blak
Seattle veteran MC Silas Blak has a lengthy and established reputation in Seattle as one of the most intricate rappers in the area. Blak is confident touching on a variety of complex issues, such as his own philosophies and political views, all the while taking listeners down an often convoluted journey of verbal constructions. As a member of Black Stax, Blak has an ongoing and long history with Seattle music, formerly of Blind Council and Silent Lambs Project, and as a soloist.

More recently, he released a string of singles as part of his #BlakFriday series, which were collected and released as #BlakFriday: The Mixtape. This mixtape builds on his style, with producer Kjell Nelson behind the boards to provide the gritty soundscape.
Z3LLi
Z3LLi
Chanarah Caprice Caupain (born April 19, 1994), known by her stage name ZELLi, is a Seattle recording artist. She was born in Seattle, Washington, by her South American Guyanese mother and her father who is a well-known Hip-Hop artist in the North West. As of now, she is following her fathers' footsteps with her own style of music, while still connecting with her Hip-Hop roots.
Travis Thompson
Travis Thompson
Seattle rapper Travis Thompson is the perfect example of hip-hop music's ability to be light-hearted and fun. Refusing to take himself too seriously, Thompson raps about being a chubby, hilarious goofball. With a type of self-awareness and honesty that lends an authenticity to his music that’s missing in most of today’s studio raps. Through his genuine verses and bouncy beats, Thompson is quickly raising his stock in Seattle and nationwide- garnering hundreds of thousands of plays on his debut EP "Living For The Future", which he released just a year ago age 18. With songs on wide-ranging topics including Tom Hanks, Horchata, and Social Justice- The now 19 year old is not only an act you can get behind, but one you can find yourself in.
