Cloud Person (Album Release)
Cloud Person (Album Release)
Cloud Person is a rock band from Seattle.

This project has evolved over several years from a solo endeavor into an acoustic trio, culminating in a 5-piece rock band. During this process their sound has morphed through several genres, settling on a sound that blends psychedelic, garage, folk, and indie.

In 2015 they wrote a set of songs together (a first for Cloud Person) and honed them throughout the year. They then recorded with a local producer and engineer that captured the essence of their live sound and will be releasing the full length album 'Apparatus' at this double release show.
Day Laborers and Petty Intellectuals (Album Release)
Day Laborers and Petty Intellectuals (Album Release)
Day Laborers & Petty Intellectuals is a band from Seattle, WA. They are celebrating the release of their second album, “Former Lives.”

Born in a tiny cabin on the shores of Lake Washington as the solo project of songwriter-singer-guitarist Robert Anderson, DL&PI has grown to include viola, cello, theremin, bucket drumming, and four-part harmonies, not to mention heartfelt songs about love, life, and the end of the world. DL&PI has been bringing their cacophonous blend of indie rock, folk, punk, country, and jazz to the barrooms and bedrooms of the Puget Sound since 2012.
Whitney Lyman
Whitney Lyman
Songwriter Whitney Lyman is considered Seattle’s dream-pop priestess, after close to a decade performing and collaborating with such artists as Seattle Rock Orchestra, Pollens, The Theoretics, and most recently, the popular electronic duo, ODESZA on Jimmy Kimmel Live!, it’s clear. Her crystalline vocals and spiraling orchestral arrangements, infused by both jazz complexity and pop familiarity, lull her audience into a sweet, spiritual hypnosis. At the same time, Lyman has an undeniable pop influence. Her forthcoming album, Pleasure/Pain, recorded at the iconic London Bridge Studio and produced by Jonathan Plum, will be out May 8th.
And Yet
Melodic, carefully crafted stories infused with string-led dynamics and intimate vocal harmonies set the stage for this indie/folk/rock project from Seattle, WA. Fronted by long time singer-songwriter Dane Ueland and backed by a large cast of talented local musicians, & Yet sets out to be a strong thread in the tapestry of the PNW's vibrant music scene. Poetic, ambitious, unique, sorrowful, and beautiful; the live show aims to bring you into a welcome and warm rabbit hole of introspective emotional exploration, the peaks and valleys of a well-wrought song.

Look for the forthcoming E.P. "A Bud Has Bloomed" in 2013.
