Lauren Ruth Ward
Lauren Ruth Ward
Lauren Ruth Ward's music has spread like wildfire these past two years in LA after leaving her hometown of Baltimore. Her lyrics are secrets to strangers, writing about her life’s trajectory sharing both vulnerability and strength delivered with grit and vibrato. Her band re-creates 60's rock and roll nuances, allowing Ward to release a powerhouse of raw, visceral emotion in their live show.

Heralded by music critics as a cross between Janis Joplin, Florence Welch and Courtney Barnett, Lauren Ruth Ward is a force of nature. With every live wire performance and new track, she steadily ascends - building on the foundation of what came before.

YIP YOPS (Boilerplate)
The Coachella Valley is where YIP YOPS were born and still call home. However, there’s an indefinable and indescribable urge that spurned the quartet- lead singer and guitarist Ison Van Winkle, drummer Ross Murakami, bassist Jacob Gutierrez, and keyboardist/ vocalist Mari Brossfield- to send their own kind of aftershocks through alternative music. The band’s singular sound could’ve been signed to Factory Records in 1981, but feels at home on your favorite Spotify playlist. That’s why the group achieved the seemingly insurmountable within a few years of crystallizing its lineup (and graduating high school). They went from gracing the stage at Coachella, Chinatown Summer Nights, and Echo Park Rising to building an organic buzz online. Counting New Order, The Smiths, and Pink Floyd among myriad influences, their sound tempers male-female harmonies over swooning synths, robust accentuated guitars, and hyper-charged beats. Rising out from the area’s monolithic musical shadow, they prove the classic possibilities of musicians jamming in a suburban garage. 2018 sees the four-piece release more music as they push the single “She” and hit the road supporting Lauren Ruth Ward on tour.
Cumulus (Solo)
Cumulus (Solo)
Cumulus began as a confessional art project of singer/guitarist/songwriter Alexandra Niedzialkowski (nee-jul-KOFF-ski).

Alex’s songs are a study in juxtapositions: delicate but powerful, specific but universal, naïve but knowing, and above all personal despite being steeped in the classic pop themes—love, loss, youth, wonder, disappointment, joy. Cumulus is poised for a long awaited release of their 2nd full length album, Comfort World, in the fall of 2018.
