All Star Opera
All Star Opera
Based out of SEATTLE, All Star Opera at surface level is a Hip-Hop/Soul band.

Listen a little closer and one will find a collective of artists balancing a diversity of talents and influences. Two emcees, Flow Carter and Oz + a four-piece band play back and forth creating a vivid sound migrating between genres with both attitude and grace. This is Hip-Hop. This is Soul. This is a collective experience being channeled by a band of brothers in groove. This is a full moon in the middle of the day. Or as the six-fingered beast says, this is All Star Opera.

Carla Bell wrote in June 2018 for the Tacoma News-Tribune:

“Take Miles Davis and hope, Anthony Kiedis and a journey, Kahlua and cream and confidence, your best Nicaraguan cigar and slippers, a cozy, dimly lit corner booth, a soft rain Sunday afternoon and Weezer, a little heated massage oil and Black Thought and those hanging, beaded room dividers.

Now, pour that in your ear.

With a sound just that distinct yet familiar but also fresh, All Star Opera is like a new old friend.”

She’s not wrong.

All Star Opera is the nexus where groovy, meets a rock star hustle; for the last two years the six-fingered beast has been tearing through the Pacific Northwest music scene. Since dropping their debut EP (2016) + LP (2017), the band has played 50+ shows all over the western United States, unleashing the magic at clubs, parties and many notable music festivals. To top it off, All Star Opera was voted Seattle Weekly’s ‘Best Band in Seattle’ 2017. With ASO the goals are simple, make great music and have fun while doing it.
Kung Foo Grip
Kung Foo Grip
Kung Foo Grip is a hip-hop, punk, and trap cocktail, shaken not stirred. The recipe consists of one part Greg Cyph mixed with equal parts Eff is H, with a twist of Krescendo. KFG is dripping with an infectiously different flavor that’ll wake up your taste buds and make you slap your Grandma.

The performance equivalent of a molotov cocktail tossed on stage, KFG will set fire to stereotypes and melt musical genres over a smoldering mound of wood and metal. They've opened for artists like Talib Kweli, Run The Jewels, Flatbush Zombies, Azizi Gibson, Wu Tang, and Seattle’s own Shabazz Palaces, just to name a few. They’ve even hit the stage for three sold out Macklemore between the Gemini Tour at Key Arena and the Washington State Fair.

With a solid catalog of buzz worthy albums under their belt, they finally struck write-up gold with ‘2.K.F.G.’ (2018) produced entirely by Keyboard Kid who previously collaborated with Lil B. This 12 track LP features some of the Pacific Northwest's rising stars and received the midas touch from engineer Elan Wright at the notorious Ruby Room Studios. Rated one of “The 17 Best Seattle-Area Albums of the Year” by The Seattle Times.

They are consistently gaining popularity through HIGH ENERGY live shows, guaranteed to entertain every time. Get ready for something different, strap on your seatbelts and prepare to board the Real High Thrill Ride.
Chris King & The Gutterballs
Chris King & The Gutterballs
Songwriters all have their own processes. For some it’s whiskey, for others, like Chris King, it’s typewriters. For the Seattle-based musician, who moved to the Emerald City by way of Northern California some five years ago, the rhythm and melody of the typewriter keys brings his lyric writing to life.

All of this makes perfect sense once you hear the throwback style of the band. And while their sound is nostalgic and perhaps reminiscent of another time, their energy is fresh, poignant and vital.

King, who began playing guitar at 15 in his local church, has grown into a mature songwriter despite being only 25. And his three-piece, Chris King and the Gutterballs, have recently played major Seattle festivals (Upstream Music Fest, Freakout Fest and Bigass Boombox) as well as a benefit show hosted by the world-renowned radio station 90.3 KEXP and they’ve also hosted a residency at the historic Blue Moon Tavern.

King, who moved to the Seattle area five years ago, later met drummer, Justin Denewith, and bassist Malcolm Roberts, who were, as fate would have it, from King’s hometown of Santa Cruz. Though the three had never played together before, they have since formed a special bond. Their sound tight, their mood comforting.

And the band’s talent has most recently been displayed on their back-to-back west coast tours and on their latest release, Cocktails, an LP that romps and croons, rich with Americana rock and roll, bolstered by the one-of-a-kind vivid and poetic lyrics that only King could write.
Marshall Law Band
Marshall Law Band
Marshall Law Band is a Seattle-based Funk-Hop group led by MC, Marshall Hugh and backed by a five piece instrument toting groove machine.

The MLB just released their debut EP, ‘Nostos: A Hero’s Journey’ in November 2018. Their EP release coincided with Seattle’s first Hip-Opera –– a 2 night affair blending theater, music and classic literature’s Hero’s Journey. Marshall Law Band strives to make every single performance and release an experience for their fanbase.

Marshall Law Band was founded in 2016 when they first collaborated on Marshall Hugh’s sample heavy solo album, ‘Mill Creek’. Loving the instrumental feel, Marshall enlisted the help of Evan, Josh, Matt, Marty, and Zack to headline shows at The Vera Project and the Pacific Science Center Laser Dome both in Seattle. The chemistry was evident, and the six musicians set out to create a one-of-a-kind Funk-Hop sound from scratch.

Although new to the scene under the moniker Marshall Law Band, each member of the band comes equipped with over 7 years of professional gigging and hundreds of live show experiences.
